Although the exact date has yet to be determined the Millennium Wrestling Alliance will hold it's 2008 Awards and Hall of Fame Ceremony in mid January 2009. Probable location is Hawaii or somewhere warm according to MWA Director of Human resources Tena Buchanan-Kennedy. More then likely the location will be a Marriott hotel due to an ongoing partnership between the two companies. Planned presenters include MWA Hall of Famers Brian Richman, Tommy Knuckles, Ran Smith, Merde, CS Bunger, Tim Worthington, Sean McBride and Johnny Grrrr. A special Lifetime Achievement Award is planned for former MCW owner and original MWA co-owner H.Nic Dunkel. Last week a report was released claim that billionaire CJ Osborne paid to have the abuse of his ex wife covered up. People in Osborne's camp, including Lori Gressler instantly made claims that the reports were completely false. As it turns they were right. After careful examination of the police reports that were unanimously given to the Associated Press, it was discovered that the name of the officer who filled out the report was still in the police academy. That of course makes it impossible for him to have filled out the reports. Just to be sure hand writing test were done and they also were not a match.

Officials inside the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office have said that the investigation has been closed, because they feel it is no longer worth looking into. This of course will allow CJ Osborne to breath a sigh of relief that he no longer has to worry about this situation. He would have rather found this out a few days ago before his huge World title match, which he was unable to win. However he is teaming with rookie wrestler Carolyn Baker in the first round Tag Team tournament. Current MWA Champion Steve Pinex and Cuchulain had to give up the Tag championship belts they have held nearly all year, due to Steve winning the World Title.

CJ Osborne was unavailable for comment, but his finance Hope Marie did have this to say. 'We are just so glad that this is over and we can all move on.” The Associated Press has said they will print a retraction to the original story.

On Monday September 25th, the Associated Press reported that police reports that were to be destroyed by an unnamed employee of the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office were sent to their office. These police reports claim that current MWA star CJ Osborne was physically abusive toward his now ex- wife and mother of his daughter, Lori Gressler. The anonymous tipster claimed that Osborne paid off not only officials in the Sheriffs office, but the D.A.'s office and members of the media to keep this story away from the public.

These reports have yet to be proven, but there is an internal investigation by the police department in Jacksonville. Officials from the D.A.'s office and the office of the J.S.O. Have declined to comment, other than to stay these reports are false. They will be joining CJ Osborne at a press conference set for Friday at 9 a.m. The alleged victim in this matter hasn't returned any phones calls to use, but it is reported that she will also be present at the press conference on Friday morning.

MWA officials have also stayed very quiet on this matter and how it may or may not effect CJ's upcoming World title match this Sunday against Steve Pinex. We are following this story and will report more to our readers once more information is available.

When Millennium Wrestling Alliance World Tag-Team Champion Steve Pinex entered The Scope, he felt that he was ready for anything that came his way. There was one thing that he was not prepared for: three severed fingers belonging to an as yet unidentified female that had been placed into a box and mailed to him.

“No. I have no clue who would be capable of something as sick as this, and I don’t have any guesses as to why they’re singling me out.”

When asked if the package had been sent in relation to recent attempts on his life, Mr. Pinex refused to comment any further on the matter.

The box’s contents were discovered after an unsuccessful outing during the MWA’s recent televised Supremacy Gambit event. Witnesses on the scene at the time would not comment as to the circumstances surrounding the morbid discovery.

Given the nature of the discovery, local authorities, along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation have been called in to uncover the mystery surrounding whom the fingers belonged to and their current whereabouts.
